AICP roms is based on AOSP(Android Open Source Project) and is in itself very smooth and powerful with numerous amounts of tweaks, options and modifications. Lenovo A6000 AICP Custom Rom is running Android Lollipop 5.1.1 32 Bits and has a very good battery benchmark performance. Some of the unique features of AICP custom rom are, pie controls, toast notifications, active display, floating window. The rom package is indeed very light and small and consists of 252 mb only without the google apps, you’ll have to download GApps 5.1.x additionally and flash it.

  • AICP Custom ROM – Download it from here
  • GApps 5.1.x – Download it from here

How to Install AICP Custom ROM

Step 1 : Copy the AICP Custom ROM and GApps in your SD card

Step 2 : Boot into Recovery

  • Switch off your device
  • Now press Volume Down + Power Button together for 2-5 seconds until you see the bootloader
  • Connect the USB to your PC/Laptop and then flash TWRP recovery (read the guide here)

Step 3 :  Make full wipe including “system” (data, dalvik, system, cache)

Step 4 : Now go back and click install and then click one level up

Step 5 : Flash the ROM and then the GApps

Step 6 : Reboot (the first boot can take up to 2-5 minutes)

    actually the rom is good. i have been testing it. bt i have found that it has two bugs.
    1. battery issue. the battery percentage is not changing. it change only if shutdown the device and reboot again.
    2.when it opens after boot it shows internal error.
    hope you will fix it.

    @ Adarsh Bhat ..same here, throws error that somethings wrong with the system, and cant install xposed framework always goes into bootloop tried twice

    the battery remains stuck at 70 percent.. now i don’t know if that;s a bug or the battery really lasts that long lol
