Lenovo A5000 has got official Lollipop update, and we have got a custom ROM based on Android Lollipop 5.1. Lenovo A5000 CM 12.1 Custom Rom is one of the best regarding performance and stability and battery life. It uses fewer resources resulting in good battery backup and killing unused background apps which are not being used for prolonged time. We’ve not tested this ROM personally and cannot assure that it will work properly, we’re just sharing it from Lenovo Forums.

These are the issues I faced while using Lenovo A5000 CM 12.1 Custom Rom :-
1) SIM Cards not working sometimes (Have to reboot to fix each time).
2) Touch Sensitivity is really low (Around the edges of the Screen and while scrolling).
3) No Keyboard.
4) Gapps not installing.
5) File Manager looks terrible.
6) Unable to download Apps from Play Store.
7) Unable to Swipe to answer/reject calls.
8) Unable to see Recent Apps.
9) Sound Recording not working (it says, “Internal Application error. Microphone may be in use.”)/
10) Not sure if Bluetooth is actually working.
11) I had to download Keyboard App from PC and sent it to Phone using USB Cable, but after installing Keyboard App, Phone needed to restart to make the Keyboard App work.
There could be more issues that I didn’t notice. Please fix. With this many errors Lenovo A5000 CM 12.1 Custom Rom is not worth installing. I AM NOT TRYING TO OFFEND THE DEVELOPERS HARD WORK BUT JUST ASKING TO CORRECT YOUR MISTAKES.
Thank you.
