Robert Foye, an American business executive from Texas, has proven that with great determination and innovation, you can grow. During his career, he has worked at some of the big names in the wine industry and served at different positions in multiple companies in his business career spanning over 25 years in the FMCG and wine industry.
As of 2020, Robert Foye serves as the CEO of Accolade Wines, a leading wine producer based in Melbourne, Australia. With his visionary approach and intense efforts, Robert Foye is making inroads in the Australian Wine industry. Before joining Accolade Wines, the business executive had worked for a number of companies including The Coca Cola Company, Treasury Wine Estates, and Warburg Pincus.
Right from his early career, he had focused on creating a brand for his companies that signifies purpose and identity. Robert in a conversation with Ankush Khanna, shared that the definition of business is now changing with the technology. The only thing that can withstand forever for a business is a high-quality customer experience day after day. Technology can only transform the wine industry but offering a great customer experience is the strongest element in consolidating the fragments of running a business successfully.
Today, every touch point in the journey from Texas to Australia, is a result of persistence and now Robert is helping Australian Wine industry to serve the massive demand. After joining as COO in Accolade Wines in March 2020, Foye was named as the CEO of the firm in May 2020.
Under his leadership, the Australian Wine firm has entered a partnership with the US firm Quintessential in order to supply its wine products into the US market. Robert Foye was born in 1966 and brought up in College Station, Texas. He began his career in 1990 as a general management consultant at Deloitte & Touche and dived into the FMCG industry in 1992. In his long business career, Robert has been recognized on several instances for his work. Recently in 2020, he received the Industry Excellence Award for Consumer Products at the Rice Business Alumni Awards. Foye is using his entrepreneurial skills and business strategies to spread the winery industry in Australia.
