Rooting is impossible for now. I think that was very important for mentioning, but nevermind. After update to Lollipop the flashing of custom CWM recovery won’t work. Is there anybody that knows a way for rooting a Lollipop?

    2. Techolaty says

  35. Nikko says

Just to confirm, can I directly flash this like a normal rom in cwm?

    1. techolite says

Yes directly you can do. If you face status error problem, just reboot your device.

  36. Ricky Sanjaya says

What should be in the root first?

  37. Ricky Sanjaya says

What should be in the root first ? Thank you

    1. Administrator says

You don’t need to root your device to update it to lollipop. Just put the zip file on your SD card and then boot to recovery > install from SD Card. That’s it!

  38. Bass Face says

for everyone having the status 14 error open the zip file, extract “system.zip” file and flash that file

    1. Administrator says

Just reboot and you’ll get Lollipop.

      1. Bass Face says

no you dont understand, u just cant flash the whole file u need to extract “system.zi” flash that then flash your country’s file like “india.ota.zip” and this isnt even the problem, you cant revert back to kitkat after this as u cant flash a custom recovery once u update.

        1. Vasil Panov says

Are you saying that if I update I can never I can never flash a custom recovery ever again and in that case I can never flash a custom ROM? And I will be stuck with Lollipop forever?

        2. Administrator says

It doesn’t matters in my case. I flashed the entire zip. It worked and pretty much for others.

      2. Bass Face says

why dont u try reverting back to kit kat once? i really dont think u even tried updating the phone yourself and the rom isnt smooth at all

        1. Administrator says

Yes true indeed the rom isn’t smooth at all. But if you remove the bloatwares and disable the unwanted google apps then you can get better performance.

  39. Gaurav Panda says

    any bug??

    1. Administrator says

Lags on Lenovo A6000 a little bit but you can remove the bloatwares and get 500 MB ram free. Works like charm on Lenovo A6000 Plus.

  40. saikarthikeya josyula says

in adb mode it is showing like this

:Program Files (x86)Minimal ADB and Fastboot>fastboot boot recovery.img
    downloading ‘boot.img’…
    OKAY [ 1.079s]
    booting…
    FAILED (remote: dtb not found)
    finished. total time: 1.174s
    please help me…

    1. Administrator says

      Just reboot Saikarthikeya.

  41. saikarthikeya josyula says

first i have downloaded the rom and twrp recovery..when iam flashing lollipop rom from twrp it showing that device or storage busy and after some time installation aborted..then i decide to flash the pure stock rom and flashed that one and it is not getting flashed binary missing, installation aborted…so many time i haVE TRIED…after that i restarted my recovery since i dont have no other roms on my sd card…after atrucking up lenovo logo…then my is got detected by PAD AND when iam giving comand “fastboot boot recovery.img”..it is showing like this

    downloading ‘boot.img’…
    OKAY [ 0.301s]
    booting…
    FAILED (remote: dtb not found)
    finished. total time: 0.316s

now what should i do..? should i definitely go to service center or any other solution…?
eagerly waiting to flash lollipop…kindly help me,….waiting for your reply

    1. Administrator says

Reboot is the solution. Lollipop has been upgraded. Just reboot the device.

      1. Kocicak says

I had same problem but after reboot I have no recovery mode. Whwen I trying to start recovery it stuck. Any hep?

    2. Vasil Panov says

It means that you can’t flash custom recovery, and you can root the phone for now. Maybe soon someone will solve this problem.

  42. pavan says

What about A6000 Plus … eagerly waiting for that .

    1. Administrator says

      Use it, its for both.

  43. Vasil Panov says

The update did not work for me. I got an error 14. I follow all the instruction correctly. Are you sure that the .zip is untouched?

    1. Administrator says

Yes it is untouched. Just reboot.

      1. Vasil Panov says

I did reboot. The phone is just resetted and is still on KitKat.

    2. Dinesh Teja says

after dwnlding the lollipop update extract the file nd find ur location like, india, europe…..copy india.ot zip file into sd card nd during booting select that zip file nd there you go >>>>>it works
